As for the CD title, "Gloaming" (a.k.a. twilight, the time after sunset and before dark), one could say "nomen est omen". The five young musicians in, bandleader and drummer, Peter Kronreif's new band, "Wayfarers", show that, in a playful yet mature manner, they are perfectly able to keep that subtle vibe beneath all the different things going on - from fragile melodies to odd meter grooves and venturesome interaction they never give up on the certain, melancholic mood all the compositions convey.
