Geprägt von Kompromisslosigkeit im Spiel lässt die Formation Edi Nulz auf ihrem Debutalbum Jetzt stilistisch kaum etwas aus was Spaß macht. Das Unabsehbare, ja Flatterhafte hat die junge Band zum Konzept erhoben. Und dabei lässt man nichts anbrennen. Als Hörer wird man permanent gefordert. Von einer Sekunde auf die andere wird die Richtung gewechselt, vom swingenden Jazzrhythmus auf harte Indie-Rock-Patterns geswitcht. [...] Im ersten Augenblick würde man fast meinen, dass sich die drei exzentrischen Musiker da völlig frei ins Improvisationsgeschehen stürzen. Edi Nulz is a young band: furious, wild, anything but smooth. The music of these three guys is light on its feet, virtuosic and flexible - but most of all unpredictable. Having barely reached the haven of a catchy melody, the listener is catapulted into a free-fall collective improvisation; jazzy grooves transmute in the blink of an eye into solid indie-rock riffs.

The music of Edi Nulz is a combination of unstoppable humor and lunacy - the kind of music that can conjure a wienerschnitzel out of russian caviar and raw potatoes. Without a stove, of course.
